Umm,what is a smart top please?

Thanks
It's a little box that connects to the can lines and modifies the roof operation to allow it to open or close at up to 30mph, auto close on long push of lock button etc.

Blimey hot weather forecast for a Bank holiday weekend. Going to drag the 18ft convertible barge out of the garage!

Wouldn't credit it would you. Hydraulic roof pump refuses to work today. Only 60 years old as well- rubbish these Yank components. Have to resort to the SL - it's a hard life sometimes.

When the weather is like this I do miss our 3.4 S Boxster, although it was an impractical car. We have been going out in the little MG now that Keith has finally got it back on the road after 2yrs of working on it. I can't say it's the most enjoyable ride but he loves it!

The main problem I have when the weather is like this is that her ladyship wants to visit places like garden centres etc and I have to give in on taking the SL because A) the boot's not big enough...... and B) I'm not having her put muddy plant pots in my lovely clean car!!!!!

I think a lot of us like to visit garden centres when the weather is nice and this is just the right time of Spring to be buying plants! We once went in one of our open top cars and bought a tree and it was actually very handy not having a roof as it meant the top of the tree had plenty of space :)
