Performance problem after B service

Guys... After some advice. I've just had a B service done today, on my yr 2000 e320 cdi, indie changed the fuel filter, air filter, oil and oil filter, checked the car all over.

For some strange reason, the car isn;t performing as it was before the service, it doesn't seem to be accelerating much, and seems as though its changing gears a lot quicker. It's picking up speed, but very slowly. Any ideas?.

Does something else need resetting after the B service, or after the fuel filter is changed. Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated. Will also take it back to the garage on Monday.

thanks

You did not use a MB dealership by any chance ?

Should it not be in S summer/standard, W i thought was winter mode, now labelled as C comfort mode. In C mode my W209 doesnt seem use 1st gear and I suspect gear changes are at lower revs.

Put the car into the S and you should find it better, maybe as it was

I think that some pipe or something has not been joined up,,you will have to go back and get him to check things

Hi
There is a chance that he may have left the mass air flow sensor unplaugged when they changed the air filter.
I would check this first and also see if there is any fault codes stored in the ecu

Thanks everyone, problem sorted. Went to my mechanic, and just like someone suggested in their reply, looks like a pipe or cover had not been replaced, power is back, with a vengeance !!!!! :)
