I bought K10 WRX from the DVLA and P3 AJB from Reg Transfers. P3 was priced wrong but I clicked buy and they had to honour the price, it was somewhat of a bargain.

Always pays to shop around and always check the DVLA site first

I’ve seen a couple of cars this week (one an 18 plate Range Rover ) with the black number plates with silver lettering, I thought the vehicle had to be over 40 years old to display this type of plate ?
I really like the look of this style of plate and would definitely use if I could.

Problem is no one around to police the law - or very few. My plate is well over 50 years old so would have been black and silver however because my car isn't it has a yellow plate (as it should have)

Mine is legal, what you've seen isn't.

If my car was over 50 years old I could go Silver and Black, as it isn't even though the plate is over 50 years old (no date letter) it has to be displayed to current specifications (which is exactly what it is)

Certainly not !! I would like to think that it would fail it's first MOT, however that is 2 years away !!

When I was young people used call me "HAKKO"..

I've just been looking and.. "HA04KKO" and "HA10KKO" are both available.. would suit my two motors nicely, but I just can't bring myself to spend the money on something like that.. I clearly haven't made it yet..
