Photos needed for Hertfordshire Merx website

If the images came from Google, then surley they are in the public domain and free to all. If not what is the point of the WWW

But they cannot be used on a commercial based website

the use of images for private viewing and commercial advertising are very different issues

Even pictures on the web can have copyright. we can look at all the pictures from the MB sites, but they still belong to MB in a commercial world

How about i put up images of my rusty merc on a commercial web site, then they can charge me £300 for the privilege of driving their rust around?

Yamaha complained to our quad site about the use of the yam logo. the reply was to remove the logo, the yamaha section and everything else to do with yamaha as am sure honda,suzuki etc would be happy with that.. they backed down !

I only use that picture as it has a reflection of me in the distronic dome the MB star was just in the way

You can certainly use images of my C270 CDI..
If you want high quality images then PM me with an e-mail address you want me to send to..

May I say thank you for the pics I was sent of peoples cars. I emailed them all to my web designer and got this response...

I've just managed to get around to looking at he iamges you sent through. The 6 images on the second email are all way too small to use. If you look at the file size they only around 60kb. These would pixelate horribly! They other pics are OK but it's all of 1 car...and it's red? The nice thing about the original pics is that they were all nice tones of blues, silvers and greys which we're in keeping with the site style. Can you try and source some others?

You could have some pics of my Yellow SLK but by the sounds of things it wouldn't fit in but the offer is there

I do and I will send them over, all the reg numbers have been removed - but the owners will have to agree there usage. I have a few of mine which I will also enclose for you.

I also have some good shots of the B52 undercarriage. Not much good for MB but the U/C looks like a ships boiler room with enough hydraulic plumbing to satisfy just about everyone and you could always say it is a picture of Malcolm's modified roof lifting gear to enable him to raise and lower his roof at speeds above 150mph
