Collected my CLC yesterday afternoon. Really really enjoying it, it is a 180K Sport in Silver with the two tone MB tex, has the comfort pack, darkened glass, heated seats and birds eye maple interior. Traded in my R56 MINI Cooper S, costing me exactly the same (within £10 a month) as the MINI. Obviously not as fast but feels in a totally different price bracket to the MINI it is so quiet and refined and it is lovely to have suspension particularly around Sheffield - the roads are terrible!

Really thrilled so far, will keep you updated!

Welcome. Enjoy your car - the CLC is a nice shape. Go on - tell me your DON'T smile when you look along the bonnet and see the 'bomb-sight' :D

Can it not be changed for a proper badge?

TBH I have not looked, but the old C coupe had the flat badge too, I am fairly certain that the all important hole is not in the bonnet......

I don't think the Sales guys would like me to start pulling the badge out in the showroom....

Just used good old common sense, and opened the bonnet, no hole, so flat badge only for the CLC's....

The raised MB badge would look wrong on the Sport Coupe/CLC and as the front of the car is wedge shaped suits a flat badge.

I actually like the C Saloon without the raised badge as well although anytime I have had a courtesy car and have got a saloon, it is enjoyable to look down the bonnet at that emblem.

It sure would, I still stand-by it not working on the coupe though!

I think the steep angle of the Sport Coupe/CLC means that you probably can't see it from the driving seat anyway unless you are driving in 'granny-mode' =)

Looking through the sight always makes me feel slightly German. I am disappointed that there is not a red button under a flap marked fire.

hahaha, looking at my c class coupe, then I would have to agree that the very nice MB badge would be wasted on it!!

Have to admit though, that I LOVE driving mine - it is a joy.

Upgraded to the MB from my BMW compact, which was also very nice to drive, but the MB is a class above again.

Great choice of my other halves to go in this direction!!

My new CLC is on order but need to wait a few months yet before I will be looking down the bonnet at anything.

Any further reviews on it yet? I've went for a C220 CDI with all toys.

I've just (well last Sat) picked up my CLC. It's a 220 Panoramic Sport CDI. It's my first Mercedes so knocks the socks off anything else I've driven already, but it's a great drive.
Being a showroom model (though had less than 100 on the clock when I picked it up) it's quite well specced, though no navigation and I've had to add the bluetooth (which doesnt work with my Motorola Q9h :( and probably wasn't the best choice from the reading I've been doing).
Haven't had a chance to take it for a long drive yet, but so far loving it.

I preferred the flat badge too ( and I suspect most of us in N/A do, since there are very few new C's with the gunsight - MB Canada only offers the " AMG" version only for 2009, the Elegance being dropped due to poor demand)

Tastes may be changing - Poll would be interesting, as suggested above.

Car sounds good post some pics when you get a chance:)

Hello

I am seriously considering buying a new CLC 180. Has anyone got any idea of the sort of discount that dealers are likely to give at the moment. I have seen the What Car target price but wonder if anyone has recent experience of how much discount can be achieved?

Any thoughts would be very welcome.

Thanks.
