Can anyone help. I've just purchased a 220 coupe and quite fancy putting some new door and window seals on as the current ones look somewhat worn.

Anyone got ideas on best places for parts?

I'm assuming the seals run all around the bodywork in one piece with a separate part for the rear window.

I'm not a mechanic but have done some work on cars. Is this a difficult job? I may have them fitted if not!

The seals along the lower window are separate and come in at about £50 x 4 :? This rear ones include the triangular section in the door jam that always wears.

Fitting of all the seals takes less than half an hour to do, the only tool required is a small flat faced screwdriver.

Thamx guys.

Where did you look up the part? Is there anywhere on line to find them - have been looking but cannot find a reasonable site.

Sp!ke, as you have same car have you done this on yours?

I've noticed people on the forum talking about express auto parts but not sure if the website I found was the correct one.

Anyone know the address?

I changed the ones that run along the lower windows... exbenzive but easy to do.

If you are getting excessive wind noise, it may just be that your indows need adjusting. Maybe autoglass or similar has fitted a window incorrectly or something.

Thanks again. May have to put the job off for a while as that tricky equation of money has cropped up! :?

Getting married this year and is taking all spare cash.

Still, nice to drive my bride home in a decent car at last!!
