Sorry, it was sort of a joke, I was just saying that this would make a great car for that and any special occasion. You would have to setup yourself up to do private hire. Insurance and other regulations to sort out.

Converting dead dinosaurs to fun is the best bit, the cost is "Smiles per mile" not "pence (or pounds in your case ) per mile"

I totally agree and trust been there before with a W12 engine. The smiles per mile were priceless including a 183mph run on the Autobahn..

Already planning a drive just to get to the auto bahn. After de restricting it ofcourse..

Once I get it professionally detailed, I would then maintain it. I have the full set up to detail it myself but as I am still recovering from a shoulder surgery, using a DA polisher will be tough. Lots of swirls in the paintwork.

I used to think of autobahn of an empty runway type of a way through Germany, but it's far from that. Didn't even realise that the "no speed" limits are in segments.

It was in the 60's & 70's when I lived there, but I couldn't afford a fast car then. Only about 50% are speed limit free now.
The A7 Ulm Fussen is unrestricted & not that busy.

The Lithuanian lorries that just change lanes can make it "interesting" as well.

I drove the A52 from Dusseldorf to Holland a few times in a Jag XF and E220d flat to the mat 4 up, passengers didn't even notice i was north of 140mph
