Please “HELP” Mercedes sprinter sprinshift transmission malfunctioning?

Please "HELP" My 2005 311cdi sprinter wont select any gear it just stays in Neutral. The transmission I think is called a sprintshift which is a manual gearbox that changes automatically by selecting gear up and down only and has a Auto option as well. I hope someone can help.
Also I like to change it to manual from auto (sprinshift). Do I need a new ecu for manual gearbox, is it straight forward to convert it into manual

I think you ll find the motor is failing. On the side of the transmission. Your vehicle has a conventional manual transmission with an electro hydraulic shifting system. It's usually the electric motor that plays up

could please let me know where is that motor located on the gearbox and what is it called?
