Please help my w140

I have problem with my 95 w140. The 1st problem I have is the engine light was on, don't know why. Then a week after or more my vaccum system just stop working. And of course the gas tank is locked too. My car has been garaged since that, it has been more than 2 months. Can anyone help me if there's a way to open the gas tank manually? And is there a way to shut off the engine light? Any suggestion where the best inexpensive reliable mechanic in Seattle,wa? tHANKS

you should have a manual release for the gas tank in the boot/trunk.

Open the trunk with your key and where the filler downpipe is (you may have to remove a trim panel) there will be a little (usually white) lever/knob you pull upwards to release the filler flap. so that's one thing I can hopefully help with

The engine light suggests you have a fault recorded which needs your dealer's or a decent independent's attention.

can't offer any help on the seattle stuff either as I'm in the UK
