Recently bought the wagon of my dreams, a 1995 e320 was amazing for about a week and then turned into a nightmare!!! With in two weeks, the wiper blade motor or switch went out completely stoped working (in the middle of rainy Oregon winter lol) then the ovp relay went out. Just replaced the relay on Monday after waiting a week for the part car was running all week no problems today went to add oil (have major oil leaks, yes leaks not leak. But haven't been able to get to that yet as ive only owned the car for barely a month lol) anyways it ran all week no problems today started the car and it "popped" tons of white smoke came out from under hood, checked it out after instantly turning car off couldn't tell what happened so I started car back up and waited to see or hear something nothing happened so I drove it about two miles checked my oil and coolant. Oil was low and coolant was full of oil!! What could it be? What do I do, or check or look for? This is my first Mercedes and my first car to ever have oil in the coolant tank any ideas or suggestions help! Thank you!
Pretty common on the straight six motor. Previous owner probably got a cheap and cheerful repair just before selling. You need to get the car to a MERC SPECIALIST shop that knows these cars inside out. They will use a proper MB [Reinz] CHG and get the head skimmed/trued /checked Essential for a reliable repair. If the bottom end is sound then the engines good for another 100k miles.
