Can someone please help me with this problem, If I press the button up I can hear the motor try to push the top higher but if I pull the button back nothing happens and the light blinks. What does this mean? Were are the sensors located and what else can I check, Thank you all for your time.

check hydraulic fluid level . look under spare wheel in boo

the light blinking indicates a fault code stored in the roof ECU there are several switches, sensors and soleniods on this roof it is definatley not a DIY job in fact very few MB TECs can sort them.
A very common fault is for the locks to get out of time, put the roof up manually as described in the manual, lock it all down and try. it may well sort itself out.
