i have just fitted a brand new bosch m.a.s meter bought from my local parts dealer here in Spain to my clk 320 cab 2000 model but i still has the probs (not as bad as before) running sluggish and not fireing on all cylinders after i give it a boot full, can anyone tell me what the prob could still be ?

Try the ignition coil/s, if faulty they produce the symptoms you describe.
