Update to my previous posts relating poor idle, revs surging and cutting out etc.

It seems my problems were a mixture of 3 things. In trying to cure one problem, others were missed until I went over things again last week.

    1st. I had a leaking fuel pump

2nd. the dreaded ign amp was breaking down to the point of complete failure.

3rd. The most impotant one, the OVP relay had an intermittant fault. This was changed once before, but as it didnt cure the surging problem, and was put back. Unbeknown to me, it was the cause of the poor idle and cutting out at idle.

During the problem solving venture, the injectors were replaced with new ones, and I have to say, that alone makes the car run smooth and responsive, so well worth doing, even though it wasnt really needed to cure my problems.

Donor car now on ebay !!!! Confidence eh !!!
