Which ever has fuel in it!!!
Need some help guys and girls....

Have a 1981 280 SLC (107) and at low revs or when i am trying to pull away it has no power and runs like its only on halfs it cylinders.

Once going or at higher rev it is spot on and wont even know it had a problem.

I have changed the plugs and checked leads, the old plugs are abit black and if i take the air cleaner cover off its spitting back....

Ant ideas?

No ones answering as what you describe could be a number of things ? but I will try to help --electrical-could be faulty relays -ovp fuel-plug leads - dist cap? -- but more than likely I think fuel starvation on warm up -Maf ? blocked filters? warm up control valve sticking.
Go through those first --if you still cant find it it needs to be plugged in at a garage to find the fault code and isolate the problem down .
Hope this helps a bit ?-Teddy.

not sure on the set up on these cars but could be cracked/damp in distributor cap or even incorrectly set timing!

I think thats either Fuel starvation or carb/injector clogged, Try a bottle of Wynn's injector cleaner. It could be timing as well as Pete advised. Local Indie would probs know better.
