Hi everyone apologise for the long first but could anyone can shed there knowledge or ideas what this could be.
Got a 2013 w204 its been working absolutely fine until this evening. Pulled up on my drive and turned steering full lock left as wanted to check balljoint condition due to slight knocking over bumps. I switched car off and then when i came to start it again it didnt do anything just the tachometer came up but no dash lights and didnt turn over just a relay sound clicking from the steering area.took key out and tried again and it started so straightened steering wheel up and switched off then thought oh better double check as that was strange ive then gone to start car and NOTHING, no ignition lights, no unlock from the steering when key is entered absolutely NOTHING just that ticking sound from steering and tachometer comes up then goes off. Ive heard about the ESL being common but the issue i have is the steering lock is on.can anyone give me ideas of the possible solutions and routes i can go down please.thanks in advance
