Possible faulty wiring harness?

I have been trying to track down a wierd electrical fault (earlier post on this forum) and have read on several forums about a degrading wiring harness.

My MB is a 1995 E220 Coupe - anyone know if this is likely to be affected by this problem? I have seen reference to M104?? engined cars - sorry this means nothing to me

Hello Brian,
The M104 is reference to the engine type; in this case it is refering to a 3.2litre straight 6 with 24 valves. As you will already know there is a known problem with the engine harness on the 124 chassis fitted with the M104 engine.

Now I'll just have to wait for the wiring diagram through the post before I can do any more.......
