Hello All,

Wanting some advice on the next cause of action.

my C207 kept coming up with cat temp sensor and dpf pressure sensor a while ago. i got both of these replaced last for a few weeks then.......

a few months ago i had the same faults come up, my indy said he thinks its wiring in the car or the ecu is causing the issue. he fiddled with the ecu plug and the code went away checked on star and nothing that last a few weeks......

then a few weeks ago the code came back i took the car in for a service at another garage and since the service the codes haven't been back on???? were talking 3 weeks now!!!

so could the actual service have any detriment to the sensors code ie air filter clogged etc or it might have been the fact that he had to take the ecu off to put the air filter in, i asked him about this and he said he put it back together the best he could but the plug is a little dodgy.

what do i do now? im currently waiting for the light to re appear (fingers crossed it doesn't), im certain it the plug causing he issue whats the implications getting this fixed of replaced? Cost?

perhaps i should just leave it and forget about it :D:D:D:D:D:D

I must be immune to that fear through driving an r230. So many things you could worry about (ABC, SBC, PSE, boot leaks, consumer batteries etc). I just get in and drive these days.

Which by a very happy confidence is exactly what a 230 loves !
