Power Seering bolts??

Howzit..
I bought a 1975 280.E. 2 months ago.
The steering bolts have sheerd off..first the top one and now the bottem two.
The garage have replaced the bolts but would like a second oppinion..
What is the couse of the problem and what can i do to fix it...

If the top bolt broke, was it the correct bolt, this one breaking would strain the lower ones.

Are they still breaking or what is happening now

The bolts are still good but i am just a bit nervious driving,it was quite a drive to the garage with only one bolt..and the worst is i live on a mountain...we got bolts from MB (stainless steal)..but i think that there could be something els that is the problem maby some part that needs to be replaced??tie rod ends,suspention or steering SHOCK ABSORBER...but thanks for youre reply..

OK jack up the car at the front, and it should be possible to turn the steering from lock to lock by holding the road wheel, one hand each side, just to be sure that the swivel joints are not too tight
