Power steering fluid.

In the past any power steering I've been involved with used ATF. Do you guys consider MB power steering fluid to be quite different or superior in any way, or do you use ATF like most other manufacturers stipulate?
Would appreciate your views.

ATF is what most people use,you will get some who must have mercedes marked on the container..........

I went to Mercedes and got the real thing, cost a fotune compared to motor factor ATF. Oh yes while you're there order up a new resoviour filter, when I fished mine out it was black with particle debris.

i phoned MB germany with a similar qusetion - and was told catagorically to use 'std ATF fluid"

Makes you wonder why they sell OEM PS fliud then!
