    Out of interest, how long did the previous set last on the rear please? Also whats the size of your rear?

    Lasted 3 years / 28,000 miles and there was 4mm legal tread depth left on them.

    Wheel size is 245/45/R17 all round. This is comfortably less than the size of my rear!

    Great, thanks for the info. Its great you can swap front and rear tyres. Evens out the wear.
    Im thinking maybe the set i have is faulty, compound too soft or something. Still cant even find online similar examples of wear as mine
