I know you've probably been asked this question a million times but, why on the older model Mercedes including my W124 is the passengers wing mirror smaller and more square than the drivers side, and why is only one of them electric?

and the reson why only one is electrically operated is because it would be nigh impossible to reach the passenger mirror manually to adjust it..

I find the nearside easier to reverse by than the offside which is better for seeing what is hapening behind whilst traveling, the off side is a flat mirror and the near side is slightly convex.
