Hi wondering if anyone can help/shed some light on this?

This is my first post so sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Basically i have a c220 automatic on an 04 plate. When the car has been still and i accelarate quickly, when i then stop again the entire steering wheel vibrates and is very loud. When i then go again this vibration continues at the lower gears say 1-2 then there is this loudish click which sounds like it is coming from underneath the car on the passenger side, the car then drives normal.

It seems like the gears are sticking at the lower ones when i slow down again.

I am really worried as to what this can be. I have called local mercedes garages which charge between £45 - £60 to 'diagnose' the problem. I do not think it is electronic as there is no warning light on the dash?

Has anyone experienced anything similar or know of any good but reasonable merc specialists in the north west or leeds/ bradford areas?

Any help/advice appreciated.

The indies round here are Merc-Care in Pudsey or Scotts Auto Tec on Roseville Road.
No idea on your problem but they should be able to have a look. I must say £45-£60 isn't that bad for a dealer diagnostic to be honest.
