problem selling

Hi I have a 190E auto 1983 C reg and I am trying to sell. I have had it on ebay twice, in auto trader and in all my local papers with no luck. Can someone offer any advice? Cheers Dave

If you've not sold it on Autotrader or in the local paper then there's usually just one reason - it's overpriced

To sell it on eBay start the bidding at £1, set a sensible reserve (and possibly a sensible Buy it Now price), post at least 4 really good photos and make sure the car looks sharp

also consider that this is a terrible time of year to sell cars

1, people are skint from Christmas

2, not many people will want to change cars (at least in this price band) until the spring just in case they get something a little unreliable and it either lets them down or costs them money

3, second hand cars just aren't worth what they used to be, as Nick says above, my guess is that you are overpricing it.

Good luck with the sale but you may get more if you hold on for a little longer
