Hello! I have a c207 Mercedes e coupe 2012, it has bt telephony but no bt audio so until the guys at Mercedes call me I went and bought this mmi adapter with usb and bluetooth.
but I have a problem. So I plugged it in my center console mmi port and went to the mmi screen on the navi. I connected my phone and it said that nothing was connected. I restarted my phone, re plugged the cable but the same result. I switched to cable, usb to lightning (I have an iPhone 11 Pro) and it said device not compatible so this is my first problem. Why does it say device not compatible and why didn’t the bt work there?
Then I contacted the supplier and he told me to try on the aux screen so that’s what I did. The usb did not work and neither the bt but I switched from standard sound to boost and I maxed all the volume up and it did play some music, but it was so down in volume that you had to listen with your ear next to the speaker, so on Aux it does play music but it does not go louder than .5 volume..it s impossible to listen to. So here is my second problem. If the bt works with the aux screen then why is it so quiet?
I’ll post some pics from my Navi regarding this problem.
Oh and the adapter does work, it charges the phone and the led works so it should play but it does not
