Problems with central locking pump on S Class

    Hi wonder if anyone has any ideas....the CLP on my S Class opens and closes doors but wont open or close the boot.....I replaced the pump 12 mths ago but problem has re-occurred and overheats in its attempt to open the boot.......Ive cleaned up the brushes in the motor...but didnt affect anything.....???

    The vacuum element will have failed for the boot lock, about £20 from MB

    Many thanks but Im not sure of the location of the vacuum element.....? :Oops:

    I meant the car type number, it in the bottom of the front screen passenger side and starts of WDB2
