Got the 350 d 2016. Last merc I had was a 2000 s55amg.
Forgot how nice is to be in a merc.
The column drive selector for gear engage makes so much sense.
The 285 tyres on rear I thought were overkill but tbh z Germans were bang on with them.
Well designed and looks fab.

I think the 350 cls is about same performance as the s55 on straights

Cars have had column shifts for years .... my Dad's 1949 Triumph 2000 had one. But people don't like change from the "norm"

My 1960 Mercedes 220se had column change
It was a far superior car all round than my MK3 Cortina at the time.
