Propshaft Rear Flexible Coupling

This has been raised as an MOT Advisory again today and was on the list last year. Today, Mercedes Southampton have attached a photo of the splits.

I would appreciate your combined wisdom on whether this is urgent or how many miles I can safely leave it. Looks good for a long while to me.

Looking at where the bolts are ,and where the tears are , those bits needn't even be there tbh, it'll still be a rubber sandwich . I suppose when bits fall off the balance issue will cause vibration. I'll be checking mine now

I'd say that if there is any doubt, replace them. And it's one of those rare opportunities where Febi might provide a cheap soltion. My Febis, not what I ordered but supplied nonetheless, turned out to be made by SGF and therefore good quality.

But yours don't look bad, in my opinion.

Failure of those can bring catastrophic results.
