This has been raised as an MOT Advisory again today and was on the list last year. Today, Mercedes Southampton have attached a photo of the splits.

I would appreciate your combined wisdom on whether this is urgent or how many miles I can safely leave it. Looks good for a long while to me.

Thanks!

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- 1.2 vauxhall Corsa 2021 ,orange with a black roof. .
Looking at where the bolts are ,and where the tears are , those bits needn't even be there tbh, it'll still be a rubber sandwich . I suppose when bits fall off the balance issue will cause vibration. I'll be checking mine now :)

a2054110000 £79 . Makes sense to have it changed.

I'd say that if there is any doubt, replace them. And it's one of those rare opportunities where Febi might provide a cheap soltion. My Febis, not what I ordered but supplied nonetheless, turned out to be made by SGF and therefore good quality.

But yours don't look bad, in my opinion.

Failure of those can bring catastrophic results.
