Hi, I have been parking my car in the garage, the garage doesn't leak, i always dry my car off with a leather.
I have noticed every weekend when i get the car out, there seems to be condensation on the outside i.e. chrome bumpers, and a bit on the body.
is this normal?
this would eventually cause rust. The other option would be to leave it outside, then the wind would dry it.
Any suggestions would be gratefully apperciated.
Regards Damien.

At this time of the year everything is damp in a garage. If you open the door during the day it will let air in and dry it out.Make sure garage is well vented ..What is garage built with?

Any building thats not heated in winter is a damp-box. I leave a window cracked open (protected by wind-deflector) in my car all the time and I'm parked outside.

Hi Damien, I had the same problem then I started covering it with a car cover from Argos and seems to keep her dry.

Im afraid my garage is not ideal, tin roof that weeps during the winter and can play havoc with chrome bits. It is fairly draughty though and I think this helps a bit. No heat either , dehumidification is the way forward.
Give it a drive when dry as often as you can and it should be fine.
Regards
Mike

The trouble with car covers is, they keep the damp trapped in. A dehumidifier is the best option imho. Also, if you can, leave a window in the garage open slightly.
