Proud owner of E270 Estate at 21

Hello to all of you at MB Owners,

I have recently become the proud owner of a 2003 E270 Avantgarde Estate and I'm absolutely loving it so far!

I have a chequered history of cars including the usual astra's and escorts, however I have also owned a virtually unheard of Renault Vel Satis. It was a fantastically comfortable and spacious car, however it came over all french on me and died spectacularly so I learned my lesson and went German.

At the age of 21 I appreciate of course that I am lucky to own such a lovely big car and so accordingly I intend to take great care of it.

Reading through the various threads on the site, I have already learned many things so I thank all the members for the time they spend helping others

I would like to thank the moderators in advance for the thankless task of looking after the site as well as answering many questions that I have seen on the site.

i bought a new 190e 2.0 auto on my 21st birthday in 1991 and still have it. expensive then but still going strong and Never broken down, just regular servicing. rust free and interior still looks great with no real waer showing on the inside

Hi, I have the same vehicle, saloon, and this year when I wasn't allowed to change due to baby which resulted in 60 plate C Class Sport Estate for the wife, I decided to treat it to a set of summer alloys. Set of 18" 5 spoke wheels from CLS, 235 front & 265 rear, and they totally change the look, love it. Let me know if you want a pic or two.
