pse impellor

I have just stripped my PSE Pump and the Impeller has indeed disintegrated as usual. I can't believe I have to pay £180 for a kit! I have seen on the net someone in the USA replaced his impellor with another one from a Pump not off a SL and said "any" Merc will have same impeller. Any one any idea if this is correct, I'm not mean, just careful and on a fixed income!

I wonder if any RC model shops would have a suitable replacement?

Maybe search the net with description inc how many blades/ outer dia etc ?
