235/40 18, 225/40 18, is it best to fit 7.5/18, and 8.5/18??

Hi,
The width of the tyre would depend on the car and the spec of the wheels, and also whether it is front or rear fitment.
My C43 AMG has 7.5 front wheels with 225's and 8.5 rear wheels with 245's, (standard AMG rims) but when choosing at your tyre profile be careful as the wrong one can cause problems with ESP, cruise control, inaccurate speedo etc.

For the front they list a 225 x 40 X 18" on a 7.5J rim, and for the rear
a 245 x 35 x 18" on a 8.5J rim

thx a lot television, but for a 200K wouldnt it be slow for pick up if i fit a 245 at the back??
