HI all.
I'm replacing the combo switch on my 190E and have a couple of questions.
The Haynes manual is reasonably clear in the removal procedure for the steering wheel and advises a new retaining nut when reassembling which I will do.
It doesn't however advise on the torque specification for this nut - can somebody please provide that info?
Also, once I remove the steering wheel retaining nut does the wheel just slide right off as the Haynes manual is leading me to believe?
Thanks, Geoff.

steering wheel torque

On most cars it is around 40Nm = 30lbf ft I do not think that you will far out with that figure.
