Hi chaps - just seeking a little guidance if I may.

My 1982 500SL ABS warning light is on and the fault has been traced to the ABS pump.

Does any one know if this pump is common to a number of the larger MB 80s cars and also later cars including the E class as it seems to share the same part number of 0265 200043 which I think is a Bosch part.

Can't access my car the moment so if anyone could kindly let me know if they have a similar car and what part number is shown, if any, then I would be very grateful.

Kind regards all.

Your Mercedes
nice 201 2.5D 1993 & very nice 129 SL500 1994
There is a small diode under the pumps conector/relay socket which can be destroyed by clumsy fault tracing, check the diode before you shell out for a new/fresh pump.
