R107 Centre armrest

Has anybody fitted an armrest to the passenger seat of their R107?

I've seen the kits, but I'm unsure how they attach to the seat frame. Is there a clamp necessary or does the seat frame have threaded holes?

Any information gratefully received.

Looked into having one fitted a while back ... saw one fitted to a 1984 R107 .... Seemed like all that was required was removal of the plastic/crome cover and picked up on the original mountings ... could not find one in light cream ... and wasn't sure I liked it anyway.
