Does anyone here do wiper motor repairs. It’s for the windscreen motor on a R129, 3.2, W reg.

I have a wiper problem too. Repair shop is looking for a wiper motor relay to fix intermittent working/ not working. Cannot get a replacement yet, even from Germany.

Have looked but was heard there was somebody who did repairs on the forum but couldn’t find the thread. Would rather get a repair as you never know what you’re going to get from eBay.

Tell the garage to open up the relay, they can be repaired by solder.

As above. Dry joints on the solder connections are easy fixed and not uncommon. Alternatively try talking to @JohnnySBC

Also check the Stalk - another known problem area. From constant use the very thin wire running the length of it breaks but leaves the insulation on it so sometimes works, sometimes not.
A favourite trick is to put it on High Beam and then twist the knob - sometimes works like that...???
