Having a wee electrical and a seat trim/fit problem and dont know if the two are related.

The passengers seat squab is not heating but the back rest is - the drivers seat is fine. There seems to be a problem with the fitting locating of the drivers backrest though it is half in and half out one prong behind and one in front of the location cross member. The passengers back rest popped 'out' a month or two ago and with a little effort i got it back in - i dont remember how i did that now but i suspect this will have something to do with the seat cushion not heating. It would appear that the back rest was not sitting in properly and the two prongs about 3/4 of the way up the backrest were not located behind the steel bar that they are supposed to be in.

Also the steering wheel up and down in and out adjuster is not working.

Looking at both seats today the passengers backrest is located fine but the drivers side has one prong in and one out.

SO how do i dismantle and rebuild the seats.....what connectors relay wires operate the seat squab and backrest heating and could this seat heating problem be related to the steering wheel up and down/in and out adjustment.

If the seat problem and the steering wheel adjustment are not related where should i look to fix this steering wheel adjustment problem.

thanks in anticipation
