R129 windows

Hi everyone
Does anyone know if the windows on the earlier R129 (up to 95/96) should automatically drop/raise when you open/close the door, like the later ones and like most modern German coupes do ??? ( I'm hoping a 92 shouldnt !!! )

Hi David, the window dropping ½" only started about 1995

btw, still havent got steering wheel off, cant seem to locate end of torx in 'receptors' in back of wheel !! as if they arent there ! so given up, now waiting for local garage to fit me in

You have the two spokes going out each side of the wheel when in the straight ahead position. at the center of the spokes there is a little in fil piece, the screws are in those bits,the left hand one is by the stalk, or in line

ok, I found the in fil bits, wheels' obviously never been off as i had to puncture the thin rubber seal, but end of driver just doesnt seem to find any recepticles !! just wanders around in there, deep up the back of the wheel !

ps have you still got Hoffmans for sale and are they 18" ???
