R170 SLK Indicator Lens

Hello All,

I have just acquired for Mrs Tonypam, a very nice 1997 R SLK 230 which has a small crack in the NSF indicator lens. I have seen one available for £21 on the well known internet auction site ( other internet auction sites are available......... ! )

Is is painful to change this ? Is it just a case of removing the 2 screws which hold the headlamp unit in place pulling it all forward and then removing the indicator unit ?

I dont like lights, lenses, bulbs and lamps for some reason.....much prefer oily bits !

Havent got a manual yet so as usual I would value anyones comments

It should be easy enough, if you get stuck and no one else replies I will print it off for you

Just put a screwdriver in the access hole in the slam panel and flick the tab.
