hi y'all..

Mrs SLK driving (us) on fumes last night pulled in at petrol station. Fuel flap would not open. Car nearly 4 years old, serviced by MB.

long story short - suspected not enough fuel to get home.

So we called Service24 who agreed we were covered. Sent a local independent to us who thinks needed to get behing filler flap from underneath, removing trim etc.

So as not really a roadside job he recovered us to home and car to his compound - to deliver it to MB this morning.

So question is.. is this a simple (cheap?) job and is it covered under warranty?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, it could be just stuck but the chances are you will need a new diaphragm
