Hi Kids.
Jumped in the SL tonight for a quick trip to the shop (any excuse to keep the batteries topped up and the oil circulated). I noticed that the green "On" indication light on the headlamp switch was flickering when the car was first turned over and stayed flickering for about five seconds before remaining permanently lit for the duration of the trip to Tesco's (other supermarkets are available). On the return the headlamp switch indicator light didn't illuminate at all.
There doesn't seem to be an issue with the operation of the headlights, so my assumption is that some bulb or LED within the switch has given up the ghost.
So Oh learned ones.
How in blue blazes do you remove the headlamp switch (without causing damage to the trim) to, if possible, check and replace the illuminating bulb. Or is it a case of replacing the whole switch.
Thank you in advance for the advice.
