No not heard about that one before. Worth checking and spraying with switch cleaner anyway though.

happy days. quick test .no faults CAN or otherwise. ran parktronics as well, all good ,all saved. so i a happy camper this am.. till next time !! how much is new front grille ,place where 4 screws go ,half broke ,since before i had car, not a great design,again. i have unsightly repair washers holding it down at the mo . going to get quietly blocked this evening . its been a real ballache, upside i learned a bit. no 1... dont rush .it costs less.no 2 if you buy a benz and want to save significant amounts ,buy STAR Mine must have saved me over a grand in benz labor charges and NOW it SEEMS ?.... done there is a certain satisfaction, i think!!.... only remaining job, when i remember how i last did it ,is to reset ride highs ,since dealing with ABC, SEEMS right rear has gone a cm out of sinc with left rear .frankly i will let that settle for a week .

Great result Andy. I'll bring my STAR over as well as I seem to recall you had something you wanted to compare (I'll bring it anyway given the propensity for things to get broke and the reliance on STAR to unbroke them - especially with French garages).

grand idea. on star , be interestin to see ,both show same situation . would,nt ravel anywhere here without it. DONT REALLY TRUST UK DEALERS NOT TO SHAFT ME , NEVER MIND HERE at least if you have it you can see what anyone else reckons the issue really is . now tryin to get it inssured without breaking bank.

twas an event i hope not to need to repeat ,however i did learn a few things primarily when to walk away and have a think on the matter, consider myself lucky (so far!) to have got away with around 240 euro in costs ....now to sort fueling issue on 1400, i want to head off to italy with it in summer.

well all seems good. will print lastest quick test today for record 200 miles over weekend, no faults on screen and a reminder of the good side of this great looking car . oil and filter tomorrow . anyone, ?? how to get the 320 days overdue service message to dissappear its done 4k miles since last service!!!

Gosh, now you’re asking! I used to know how to enter the service menu on my 230 and I’ve completely forgotten now- something to do with having the display on trip and then holding the trip reset counter for 4 seconds or something like that....LK for sure will remember

tried that ,still see message .i will try again then see if anything on star ,asked lk last w.end seems its not simple if one has distronic, no idea why. i did get to spanners on dash and press reset. unless i missed something ,no result.

Apparently turn key to position 2, go to spanners, then press reset 10 seconds, release then press another three seconds. Turn off key.
Cole had to try mine several times to get it to do it.

That’s it! Yes, mine also took several attempts and I wondered whether I was trying to do things too quickly
