I posted that question to save you having to but I forgot you're going for the Guinness book...
Main feed and neg, P/W/M controlled by the engine ecu!!
Check the main 40amp fuse in the front SAM!!
Its a petrol. What is P/W/M?
Where is the SAM located in front?
I get the impression that all my problems are leading to the ECU`s!
Forgot to ask, should there be a perminant live with ignition off?
thanks,
Front sam, ( fuse box ) under bonnet!
Pulse-width modulation Voltage control by the engine ecu!
Ign off, fan unit is dead!!
The rad fan can start at anytime even when off
What use would that be Malc??
Apart from making the battery flat with-in 15 mins??
Once the car is locked down, its dead!!
Under very hot conditions the fans can start after you stop, or keep running,,many have the warning sign on them. It does have to be very hot, when you stop the heat runs to the outer surfaces

SAM was correct on his post,,I just wanted to give the warning that fans can start up on there own when the engine is hot
I will take a read and if you care to look back in a hour I will see what I can find to assist
