I accidentally set off my car alarm recently, and in the process managed to activiate the radio's anti-theft system that renders the entire radio useless. I read in the manual that this would cause a straight line to appear across the display screen (which it did), but I was unable to find anything that told me how to unactivate it. I have an '86 420 SEL, and would really appreciate the help! Thank you!

I think you need the radio code, and enter it as per handbook.

As per Malcolm (TV). Radio code and follow the procedure in the manual
