Radio/CD player Advice

iam a newbie ,sorry if this is in the wrong place

i have just brought a ML270 Y reg(2001) it currently has an Audio10 cassette player fitted ,

i want to buy a new radio/cd player for my car, i dont know what models would fit in my car,

So if its ok can some of you let me know of any good radio/cd models that would be able to be fitted in my car also if there is a sat/nav model that would go in my car ,, Thankyou very much in advance

Hello Mel and welcome, you could go the whole way and have the Comand unit fitted, or have a after market double din unit with Sat Nav

the audio 10 cd/radio

and the aps 30 sat nav will be a straight swap. Both will work the cd changer in the boot if you have one ( it may not be in the boot in an ML).
We have both, and I find them to be a very good fit to the car. The sat nav is of the same vintage as the car, and runs from cd roms. They themselves aren't cheap, and neither are the units. You are probably looking at about £100 plus from the dreaded flea bay, and unless you are lucky, a bit of a wait until you win one.
Consider one of the modern stand-alone sat navs. They have better graphics, bluetooth for your phone, and can handle MP£ players and the lkke. If you're clever about fitting, you won't leav any tell tale marks and no-one will know you have one. The good thing about the Mercedes units is no-one but a merc owner would want one.
