Hello friends, back to pester you already. Sometime I wish I just had a Honda Accord on lease..not really.

Anyway, the eldest of our resident midgets left the parking lights on when we went on holiday, and of course, all was dead on my wife's return to the car, necessitating a jump from the AA. (Then they helped her with the car - Way-hay!)

I have reset the lecky windows with the help of the archives (piece of cake -ta!), BUT the radio is not doing a thing, not even asking for a code. Fuse is fine.
(Its on the 210 CDI, by the way. Standard radio, I think its called CD10, or something, even though it only takes one CD.)

What d'you reckon, then?

TIA, as ever.

Hi Johnny though most MB the radio uses the same line as the cigar lighter, your could have a separate fuse, I am sure that I have seen that on a 210

The Audio10 is a bit of a funny bugger. Mine had a tendancy to go 'a bit wonky' from time to time. A quick reset generally sorted it.
Assuming the radio fuse is ok, pull it, wait 30 secs or so and pop it back in. It might just come magically back to life!
The fuse was "conveniently" under the back seat on the W210 - not sure where it resides on the S210.

Hi chaps.
The radio does seem to have its own fuse (#5), and which is indeed under the offside rear seat, with the battery a la Beetle.

I'll have a go at pulling the fuse tonight..thanks.
