I am replacing my MB CD Tuner in my 2000 SLK 320 for a Kenwood CD RUner 9021
(MP3)  that has the ISO standard plug.

Will I be able to simply pull the MB unit out and unplug & just plug in the
Kenwood or do I need an adaptor?

Also do I need an adaptor for the aerial lead

Thanks##

iso plugs are now an industry standard and have been for quite a few years now so it shouldn't be a problem.

the ariel should also be ok most jap cars will need an adapter though

another thing on the iso plugs on the kenwood the permant live and ingnition wire may have to swapped but this isn't a problem either as they are already on bullet connectors. if you find the memory clearing after turning your ignition off  then just swap them round (yellow and red wires)

Thanks again for the info.     Will I have the bullet female bullet connectors in the SLK as well as the ISO plug?

no you just chevck the iso plug and you will see that the red and yellow wires are both on bullets should already be conected up just switch the thing on and set a radio preset then switch off the ignition for a minute switch it back on on see if the station is still there if it is then all is fine.

if not just diconect the two wires and switch them over i.e red to yellow, yellow to red

Not a solution, but a question:

Do you still want your old MB radio/CD??
