Radio Problems 2008 A150 W169

Hello,

I am having problems with radio reception in my A150.

In some cities I don't get any reception at all, whereas in others I pick up a variety of FM stations.

Does anyone know what would be causing this issue? I've already changed the antenna and base so don't think that is the problem.

There is usually an antenna pre-amp in the back of the car, these have a tendency to fail and lead to poor reception

Thanks for the reply - I thought this may be the problem.

Do you know if it's easy to replace the pre amp?

Is this only DAB
