Hi all, I have a w203 c220 cdi and I have purchased a rain sensor and loom for this. The sensor does not seem to have any lense on the windscreen side or any method by which it is attached to the windscreen, am I missing any parts here or have I overlooked something obvious?
Thanks, Paul.

Isn't the sensor for factory fitted combined in the light sensor?

Not sure how this affects separate intallations.

You state you purchase the rain sensor and loom. The sensor itself is not unlike a little solar panel. Mine is a blueish-purple, abot 2" wide. It is fitted to the windscreen via mirror holder housing. My windscreen is 'blacked' (as on windscreen edges) arund the sensor. It is possible that this was missing from the package. Where did you get the kit?

Hi there, thanks for your help. I purchased the sensor online (Ebay) and the loom from main dealer, however there is no provision made on my mirror housing for the rain sensor to clip into so it appears that the mirror housing on my car would be different to a car that had a rain sensor specified from new. It looks as though retro fitting it is not possible.
Thanks again, Paul.
