ran out of fuel and 230clk komp auto ,fuel put in but wont start!!help

my 230 clk automatic was out of fuel i put nearly half a tank in now and still wont start help!!!

Does the pump prime when the ignition is turned on?

if it does suspect a blocked fuel filter

If it doesnt check the fuses and the relay.

what is the relay is that what looks like a big fuse! next to fuses in boot? tried jump leads still nothing??tried 4 2 days now....help!!

Hmm, if he is using Jump Leads then I guess its not a petrol issue

You need to make sure that the fuel is getting to the injectors, and that you have power to the plugs..

Are you getting a spark at the plug leads (take a lead off and put a spare plug in it -earth it against the bock and turn engine over) if there is a spark -- remove the plug the lead is off pour a small capfull of petrol in -replace it all quickly and see if it fires up or attempts to ?

it's possible you have a fault that made you think you had run out of fuel so best to keep a open mind & check for fuel & ignition faults even the immobiliser

Have you checked the CPS .. Crankshaft Position Sensor ..
