The guy selling says "The car is Cat C apparently - not sure when and how it had the damage as everything is sound" Yeah ok!

thing is on cars like that pal , cat C don't mean that its been a wreck , it must have been worth repairing as parts are mega money and insurance companies have to use brand new parts

Yep, this happened to my old GTE 16v, someone hit the nearside drivers door, because of that it was written off. Just seems a lot for a CAT5, as you are trusting that it was all done correctly.

my insignia vxr was a cat C , front bumper and driver wing / headlamp unit was all it took to write off a 10k car pal
